LG Washing Machine UE error code
UE stands for Unbalanced Error. It appears when the laundry clumps to one side of the drum and the washer cannot rebalance the load, so it can't spin properly.

What causes the UE error?

How to fix LG UE — step by step
Work through these in order, from simplest and safest first. Stop as soon as the code clears.
- Pause and redistribute the load
Pause the machine, open the door, and spread the laundry evenly around the drum. Remove tangled items and spread them out flat, then restart the spin. - Adjust the load size
The washer performs best when the tub is loaded to about two-thirds of its capacity — laundry needs room to move. For a very small load, add a few more items to balance it. - Use the right cycle for bulky items
Wash duvets one at a time using the Bedding or Duvet cycle, fully submerged after water fills. Never wash electric blankets, carpets, curtains, foot rugs, or rubber mats. - Check that the washer is level
Rock the machine gently — if it wobbles, adjust the leveling feet until it sits firmly and evenly on a solid, flat floor.

- UE persists with a normal, evenly spread, medium-size load on a level machine
- The drum spins roughly, bangs, or moves the washer across the floor even when balanced
